The next major version of the Mac operating system is Catalina that will be launched in 2019; here are the features that Catalina have. Mac operating system Catalina will be available on the App store.  There are significant new features and User interface revisions in the OS where performance is increased, and it is made easy to use.

1. The photo app is improved.
2. The notes app is enhanced.
3. There are better tools to manage the Apple Account.
4. The reminders app is redesigned.
5. There is new feature in Apple mail to block a sender, unsubscribe, and you can mute a thread.
6. Updates in the safari browser.
7. Find my App- A combination of Find my iPhone and Find my friends
8. Itunes app will be replaced by Music, Podcasts and Apple TV apps.
9. The Quicktime player has been improved.
10. For international languages, enhanced support will be provided.
11. Icloud drive will be there for storage.
12. macOS can be restored from a Snapshot.
13. Project Catalyst: The apps that were present in Ipad will be available on Mac. Apple announced in 2018 that it would be providing tools to software developers to bring the IOS apps to Mac.
