- When the outlook is closed, go to the control panel and select “Mail.”
- Once you click on “Mail”, select “Email Accounts.”
- A new window will open, and you will get an option to click on “New.”
- As soon as you click on New, it will open up a wizard, and you need to enter the details about your email account.
- For a standard email account like Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc., select first radio button and enter your Name, Email Address, Password and retype the password.
- For an exclusive email address like your work or personal domain, select the second radio button, which says “Manual Setup” to setup Email on MS Outlook.
- Under manual setup, enter the name, email address, account type (POP/IMAP), incoming mail server and outgoing mail server, the username (your email address) and password.
- Also, check on remember password else outlook will annoy you by password prompt now and then. And Click on Next.
- Once done, click on more settings, and on the outgoing server tab, check the option “My Outgoing server requires authentication”.
- Click on Advanced, enter the Incoming and Outgoing server port and enter the port numbers. Click on OK, and you are good to go.
- Launch the outlook and enjoy the email.
